| Modification of Flat Base Roller Bit with Cone and Its Application |

| Abstract:Under the guidance of rock broken theory of flat base roller bit and conventional cone base wing shaped bits, the drilling mechanism of flat base roller bits in big deviation was analyzed. The key structure and main parameters of modified cone base roller bit were designed. The flat base roller bit was modified into cone base roller bit. The modified bits were used in project and good results were gained. |
