Application of a Novel Anti-seepage Technology by Combination of Diagraph Retaining Walls and Cutoff Wall with Self-setting Grout
Abstract:The compound use of diaphragm retaining walls and cutoff wall with self-setting grout is a novel supporting technology in deep foundation pit construction, which has good effect in seepage control with low cost. Based on the project example of deep foundation pit of Walsin Lihwa AB site, the application feasibility and the advantages were demonstrated in mechanical behavior, seepage control and the cost. Furthermore, the paper specifically introduces the construction process and technical points.
