Settlement Analysis of Composite Ground Improved by CFG Piles under Road Embankment |

Abstract:This paper analyzes the deformation mechanism of CFG pile composite ground under road embankment. Based on the assumed settlement model and the distribution of friction of pile, a method for settlement calculation of the interaction of pile-soil-cushion is deduced. A trial case shows that the predictions given by the derived formulas agree well with field measurements. |
