| Feasibility Analysis on Application of Conventional Coring Tools in Directional Well |

| Abstract:Conventional coring tools can be used for directional drilling according to the analysis on the factors that can affect the core recovery. But core recovery is lower than vertical well, and even lower with borehole curvature increasing. The paper puts forward the technology of improving core recovery of directional well by further analysis and provides the basis for development of directional coring tools. Drilling data both at home and abroad proved the conclusion above. |
